Happy Friday Events

Hooray for Friday Las Vegans! Anything planned for this weekend? Here are a few events going on throughout the valley that may peak your interest.

12th Annual Bikefest 2012 at the Cashman Event Center is a 4 day rally of , “all things motorcycle” Starting Tonight and running through Sunday. Also, head down to the Mob Bar as they are catering to this event as well.

Arts Square Theatre (Las Vegas New Community Theater) is showcasing Nurture by Johnna Adams through October 7th. Tickets are $12-18 that you can purchase here http://flavors.me/cockroachtheatre#e97/custom_plain

Bite of Las Vegas at Desert Breeze Park. Enjoy bands like Phillip Phillips, Matchbox 20 and Counting Crows. There will be over 40 food vendors at the event. Cost is $15 to get in and is for all ages.

3rd Annual Asian Harvest Moon Festival at the Springs Preserve Saturday, September 29th 12 – 6pm “Observed by numerous cultures throughout Asia, the Moon Festival parallels the autumnal equinox of the solar calendar and is an occasion for family and friends to reunite for lantern parades and to eat moon cakes, the festival’s traditional food.”

Pure House Music Festival will take place at the Clark County Amphitheater from 10am to 10pm Saturday, September 29th. Get your funky groove on at the all day event. $30 tickets day of event.

Saturday, September 29th is National Public Lands Day. “A day that reminds all of us of the vast and diverse nature of America’s open spaces, from small neighborhood parks to large national parks, and the importance of each one.” All 397 National parks will waive entrance fees on this Saturday throughout the United States. This gives everyone a chance to enjoy the nice fall weather and one of these gorgeous parks. This does include Lake Mead and Red Rock Conservation Area.
